Redemption | ORIGINAL Hand Oil Painting

I’m excited to share with y’all my newest painting called “redemption”. This piece represents my tumultuous journey of being a modern day online artist. It’s been crazy fun and very exciting but “got damb” I took some punches along the way. I would be lying if I said the hate didn’t get to me now and again.

This is a portrait of someone that’s been put through the gauntlet and hardly made it out the other side. With their hood pulled over their eyes they blindly push forward with cigarette burning hot, determined to forge a new path.

This portrait is unfinished which represents the future journey that this “fictional character” is about to embark to find that internal artist driven by pure artistic expression and not external validation.
